SINGAPORE – With a design that calls to mind Chinese bamboo steamers stacked atop each other, the National Technological University’s Learning Lab building might well be a pressure cooker for students, especially when exams rolls around.
Thankfully, the intriguing building features cold water circulated via metal coils – an innovative climate control system that is said to be up to 30% more energy efficient than conventional air conditioning. All the better to help young busy minds keep their cool.
